Nancy is survived by her husband Johnny Webb, son Johnny Jones and spouse Jo Carol of La Porte, son Gene Jones and spouse Laurie of Lorena, daughter Jodi Branch and spouse John of Waco, daughter Julie Barnett and spouse David of San Marcos, son Jerahmy Webb and spouse Tiffani of Concan, grandchildren Brandy, Brittany, Cody (Brandy), Colton (Allison), Savana, Justin, Kali, Tarah, Ryan, Alexis, Maycee, Brianna, Logan, great-grandchildren Caitlynn, Jolee, Walker, brother Dan (Liz) Dever, sister Mandy (Michael) Harvey, sister-in-law Judy (Karl) Marshall, dear friend Pat Gobert and numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed being in the PTO, Arts and Crafts Club and many other organizations. She was an active member of Utopia Baptist Church and held various roles. Nancy worked for many years at the Utopia School cafeteria, and at the General Store. She loved to cook, sew, do crafts, crochet, paint, and enjoyed teaching these things to her children and grandchildren. She was the perfect homemaker all her life. She graduated from La Porte High School where she was nominated Homemaker of the Year.
Nancy was born on May 10, 1944, to Daniel and Jesse Mae Dever in Morgan’s Point. She adored her large family and cherished the times when everyone was around her. Married to her loving husband, Johnny Webb for 51 years, they had 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
Nancy Ellen Webb, 78, of Utopia, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
