Also, it’s taking customers away from a competitor, and allowing you to build more customer loyalty, etc. I generally steal more than three customers, and even if it’s three, if that means my profit on each potion they buy is $20, it’s paid for itself. I think the flying carpet is worth it, too, actually. But the last two spells pay for themselves quickly, and make watching the day unfold more fun. The next spell, that allows you to change the price of potions during the day, is useless to me. Except that I have the problem mentioned above, in which Dumbo restocks your inventory always from the top of the list down, which makes it even counter-productive at times if you need to re-stock the ingredients at the bottom of your list (I managed to lose a level for the first time because of this). It’s very cheap to get to the second spell, which is the Flying Elephant drop, which lets you re-stock during the day. I have to disagree on leaving Spells as a last point of purchase.

I’m not interested in almost all of the sim/tycoon games out there, but this one is hysterical and requires some bit of strategy (although not as much as the usual tycoon game, I’m sure). They’ll only bring you 2-4 customers, so only hire them if your profit margin is high enough. Goons aren’t ALWAYS worth their money.Make it the first thing you do every game day to make sure you don’t miss it. Set your prices around 5-10 beans less than your competition and the customers will soon be all yours. The corporate mole is your most valuable upgrade.
Save about half for the next day – you won’t be making much. Don’t spend all your money the first day.
